Do I know, what you know???

Brothers and sisters

Young and elders;

Be honest and realistic

We are Oromo in genetic

The children of Cushitic

We can’t be Semitic

Bantu or Nilotic

Our language & cultures are intrinsic,

Ladies and gentle men

Oromummaa is in our artery and vein

Muscular system and bone

Nervous system and brain,

We have been created like other nation

With our own cultural distinction

Language and religious formation

Dignity and ideological ambition

Golden Gadaa, democratic civilization,

But what was gone wrong?

Why do we forget to sing our song?

Like our forth fathers, history of furlong

Heroics and historically strong

To attain our freedom it took us too long,

We were not the beginning for colony

Kenya, S. Africa, S. sudan and there are so many,

They all acknowledge their national interest

Understood that nothing is more important

Than their culture and land of natural gift,

Do we cursed our self or by God?

It is absolutely sad

I can’t say that we are mad

Selfishness invaded our heart and mind,

Don’t be nasty

If the speed limit is eighty

Obey the law and drive for your safety

We lost natural harmony and human dignity

Land, culture, language and total sovereignty

National pride and our solidarity,

I don’t know what you know

You can’t see what I saw

We all have different view

We do have no common straw

To share our pain and sorrow

We are melting like summer snow

So how could oromummaa grow?

Let us articulate each other

Patiently, by being smarter

Without pushing harder

Illiteracy is danger

It can burn us like fire,

How many of us mentally in Oromia?

Neighbouring countries, Sudan, Kenya and Somalia

And follow up the criminal act of Abyssinia,

Where mothers are wiping their tears

Fathers are anguished in fears

Children surrounded with dangerous

Students are suffered from emotional stress

Torture, disappearance and chronic diseases

Our nation became soundless,

The world community is up to its interest

It is ignoring the Oromo national youth movement

By supporting detrimental government

Thousands of Oromo student’s imprisonment

Allowing Meles to massacre our student

Teachers and merchant

Farmers in the middle of the night

In university, village and on street,

Oromo, let us change our attitude

Before it gets too late just for good

Let us come together and sit around

Just like our tradition on the ground

Rise our voice and be proud

Discus Oromummaa with romantic sound,

By putting a side our difference

Understanding our importance

And the power of uniting force

Let us Maintain our communication  performance

Its effectiveness and essence,

To save the life of our men & women

Elders, students and children

Animals and land that is naturally green

Resourceful and totally golden,

Getup and hold hand in hand

We can’t change the past, it is already dead

If we could really understand

For our safety don’t rewind

Just put it behind

Or bury it in the sand

For the sake of Oromummaa & our land,

Let us stand next to the movement of Oromo youth

Feel the pain and fight for the truth

Be part of Oromo libration army’s growth,

It is the only solution to retain our kingdom

Oromiyaa, the land of wisdom

That will protect Oromo’s right and freedom

Oromiyaa’s natural resource and Gadaa system,

All Oromo, young and elder

Brothers and sisters, son and daughter

Love and respect each other

Unite and become power

Oromiyaa will be free

Sooner or later by 360 degree

From Abyssinian colonial referee!!!

Omar osman

Unity of Oromo Struggle is a priority The Oromo want dignity, self-expression, and self-governance. The Oromo want their voices to be heard. The Oromo want sovereignty They want to live together at peace with their neighbors, who themselves also live in freedom exercising their own sovereignty. The struggle for independence will continue until the Oromo question gets proper and just response. A well organized liberation struggle and the spirit of Oromummaa will save the nation’s unity and identity from later day detractors. Long Live Free Oromiyaa!!Down with Colonial forces and their lackeys!!
